Beautiful sunset

March 29th, 2010

Nothing like a walk along the coastline in Palaio Faliro to really set the mood for the evening…

Ranma/Tsukihime crossover

March 28th, 2010

My unique crossover was updated today, to chapter 5. It seems to be moving a lot faster than the Ranma timeline, with some of crazy Tsukihime events to happen soon.
No reviews though, which is a little sad, but it doesn’t affect me so much, since I like the characters.

National Fish Day!

March 25th, 2010

Or technically, it’s the day when people go to eat cod in Greece.
We went to Anavissos, and I have never tasted such nice cod for the nearly 5 years I’ve been here.
It was also a glorious days, as you see below:

Getting warmer in Greece finally, the day before a National Holiday, there’s many religious festivals happening, like this one near the Olympiakos Football Stadium (on my way to work)

Aside from that, last weekend Maria and I went to see The Ghost Writer (I decided to link to IMDB for films from now on, instead of [...]

This came from the sand from Egypt that occasionally comes over for a visit, bringing these kinds of [...]

Day of (un)rest

March 5th, 2010

So yes, a day at home, working from home, whilst others choose to protest.
Or fight…

Being on the receiving end of tear gas isn’t a nice experience, I’ll tell you that… Your eyes water, nose runs and mouth gets dry all at once.

Even though places like the metro were closed, it doesn’t stop tonnes [...]

New measures have been introduced to boost the currency:
Pensions freezes; Cuts in public sector pay; A increase in sales tax from 19% to 21%; Rises in taxes on fuel, cigarettes and alcohol; Rises in taxes on luxury goods.
Good news for the Euro… but this is inevitably followed by hell.
There will be a massive [...]

Heavy Rain PS3 impressions

March 2nd, 2010

Not having a Playstation 3, I wandered into Public in Syntagma and saw a familiar control scheme and started playing, Heavy Rain, the new game from Quantic Dream.
2 hours later, the shop was closing and I had to leave.
All I can say was, after playing through David Cage’s previous game Fahrenheit, he has really got [...]
